Cocktail Bar Attendant

Job Description
We are looking for a well trained, well mannered individual to oversee our new cocktail bar at Aldwark Manor Hotel. The ideal candidate will need to be happy to work evenings and weekends in a busy high-end hotel with the emphasis on the guest experience at all times with a great knowledge of cocktails/drinks. Previous experience is essential, full autonomy over the cocktail bar menu.

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

Chef de Partie

Job Description
Aldwark Manor Estate is looking for a Chef de Partie to join the ever growing brigade of enthusiastic, passionate chefs to surprise and delight our guests with the food produced.

Casual Bartender

Job Description

Experience is preferred and beneficial but we do provide training for all roles so not essential. What we really look for in people is enthusiasm, that are friendly and care about the guest experience.

Bar Attendant

Job Description
We are currently looking to employ F&B Bar Team members to join our newly refurbished boutique hotel in North Yorkshire.

Working across a combination of morning, evening and baquesting shifts, delivering high quality service and genuine hospitality for all our guests. The right candidate will be able to work a variety of shifts in bar, restaurant bar or conference & banqueting department. Previous experience in hotel or restaurant is highly desirable although full training will be given.

Live-in accommodation can be provided for full time recruits.

The shifts for this role generally morning and early afternoons and we operate a 7 day a week business. We have a selection of shifts ranging from part-time, full time and casual hours.

Senior Sous Chef

Job Description
Aldwark Manor Estate is looking for a dynamic sous chef, someone that can not only bring new ideas, creative techniques but lead a team.

Aldwark Manor is half way through an incredible transformation with the first stages of redevelopment including the main kitchen, restaurant, Manor House and all 49 bedrooms being completed well past a four star standard. Next is multiple outlets with food and beverage operations in all, so the sous chef we are looking for will need a career plan and a progress plan that they can put there name too and help us develop the Aldwark Estate.

Job Description
Aldwark Manor Estate is recruiting a hotel Night Porter, The Night Porter position has the unique opportunity to explore and many different areas of the business and directly impact the guest experience.

Duties include – security of the hotel, Night audits, Looking after guests, Checking in late arrivals, checking out early departures, dealing with any guest queries, operational tasks, e.g. providing bar service, assisting with cleaning of public areas and setting up of meetings and event rooms as directed.

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Job Description
We’re looking for someone with experience in a luxury hotel and a passion for food, wine and hospitality to join the team at our beautiful boutique hotel in North Yorkshire.

  • Supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in working alongside the Head Chef, Restaurant Manager & GM to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Managing an enthusiastic, close-knit team of likeminded staff
  • Helping to ensure all members of the team are trained to deliver the best service possible
  • Being present in the bar, restaurant and functions whilst greeting and maintaining relationships with hotel guests
  • Helping to lead the team with a hands-on approach,
  • Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager with budgets, profit & loss and stock management
  • Ordering wines and beverages and having a full understanding of all wines on offer
  • Working closely with the kitchen to successfully communicate each day’s menu to your team and customers alike, ensuring all dietary requirements are catered for
  • Ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained throughout the restaurant and outdoor areas
  • Assisting in implementing company routines including health & safety and ensuring legal compliance
  • Being flexible to cover all other aspects of the hotel management if necessary

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Will have come from a restaurant or hotel background
  • Must have very strong interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with both guests and staff
  • Have proof of good leadership managing a or supervising a team of staff
  • Have the energy and stamina to lead and support the team through a busy summer season
  • Be willing to work split shifts and weekends where necessary
  • Have a strong knowledge and passion for high quality food, drink and customer service
  • Hold a personal licence and a current food hygiene certificate (or be willing to train to obtain these)
  • Should be able to provide excellent references upon request
