We hope you and your family are all well and keeping safe. As we head towards the next phase of lock down, we hope by sharing our news at Aldwark Manor we keep you up to date with everything and help you to look forward to brighter days ahead.
Since our forced closure we have been tending the stunning golf course to return it to its prime, following the extreme flooding which occurred earlier this year. During the recent sunny and warm days we have had our professional greenkeeping team working hard to restore the greens and fairways so that golf may return once more when lockdown ends.
We are also working tirelessly to reschedule weddings which were planned for early Spring and which, understandably, have been the cause of some emotional times for our future brides and grooms and their families.
We understand how difficult this has been and we are truly grateful for your support during these challenging times.
We’re hopeful that July will see our doors reopen to hold these celebrations and for everyone to see what Aldwark now has to offer.
Brand new restaurant, the ‘Greatest Show Piece’ and much more…
When Aldwark reopens guests can discover a completely new floor of superior bedrooms, the beautiful Walsingham Room and Secret Garden and Pavilion, licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies. Plans continue and our new restaurant comes on line late June offering a glass atrium, with alfresco dining, our hotel bar and lounge areas will be refurbished where we will be showcasing the original bar featured in the “Greatest Showman” who knows we may even tempt Hugh Jackman into officially opening.
Fine dining, boat house and river boat
We also have plans for a tempting fine dining restaurant, boat house and jetty with our own boat and facility for mooring for those choosing the waterways for their holiday destination or simply to getaway once we are reintroduced to normality. Whatever restrictions there may still be we are the ideal staycation venue, we certainly have the space should we need to continue with social distancing whether it’s with family and friends we can offer space and tranquillity, from stunning accommodation to countryside walks along the river and our very own river boat.
We really can’t wait to open our doors again and welcome everyone back, In the meantime, catch us on social media, or visit www.aldwarkmanorhotel.co.uk
Thank you and please keep safe.
