Alne Limited, T/A as Aldwark Manor Estate (The “Company)” is publishing this statement in compliance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (The “act”)

The company provides full hotel services that include bedrooms, spa, gym, golf, food and beverage.

The Company acknowledges its responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services to the organisation.

The company recognises that slavery and human trafficking remains a hidden blight on our global society and our aim is to identify our responsibility by alerting staff to the risks in our business and in our wider supply chain.

The company has a procurement to make sure our suppliers comply with the act. The vast majority of our suppliers are UK based.

The workforce is employed by the company directly and due diligence is performed on any future employee arriving to work for the company from abroad.

The company will achieve these aims by our initiative to identify and mitigate risk to include:

  • Regular vetting of our supply chain
  • Continual audit and review of best practice  – checking all employees have the right to work and are paid minimum wage at the least
  • Encouraging the report of concerns
  • Deploying zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking

The Company will ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within its business and supply chain through training provisions to those relevant personnel and this policy statement will be reviewed annually.
